There has been much confusion around the effects of new government legislation on your daily operations and how these may impact our client’s landlord insurance policy. There is some miscommunication that if a landlord wishes to offer the tenant a rent reduction that this will void their insurance policy. This is UNTRUE. They will not be able to claim the amount they have reduced the rent however the cover is still valid for the remainder.
