Confession... I don't have a Performance Management Framework. Do you?

Hey all. Let me start with a confession. “I don’t have a Performance Management Framework”, and I don’t know if this is a good thing or a bad thing, or where to start should one really be necessary…

I have been reading a book recently, called Radical Focus. It is a great book, I highly recommend it talks about the ORK framework through a story of a start-up that was floundering.

After another read, it has occurred to me that in our Business, we don’t have a framework, wither ORK or KPI’s or any other actions that help keep us on the “Straight and Narrow” as it were.

As a fierce Entrepreneur, I used to believe that such a framework would “Stifle our creativity” and stop us from being dynamic and free-thinking… But the older I get, and the more our business grows the more I think this logic is wrong.

So, my confession. “I don’t have a performance Management Framework.” Do you?
